Luther Elliss

Luther Elliss played football at the University of Utah, where he earned recognition as an NCAA All-American.  He was selected as the 20thpick by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 1995 NFL draft. Elliss was a star defensive lineman during his 10 seasons in the NFL and was beloved among Lions fans for his grit and determination. They gave him the nickname, "Pass Rushing Luther." He earned selections to the Pro Bowl in 1999 and 2000. Elliss spent most of his career with the Detroit Lions and finished his last year in the NFL with the Denver Broncos, retiring in 2005.

Luther has been very active giving back to the communities to which he has ties. Among his endeavors, Elliss served as a statewide spokesman for Michigan's Fatherhood Is Forever campaign for a five-year span beginning in 1997. During 1998-99 off-seasons, he held football camps for underprivileged children in Detroit, Utah, and Colorado. In 2000 he established the Knights of Christ Foundation to help children, families and the community in Michigan, Colorado and Utah. He was also the Lions' United Way  spokesman 2000-03 and established a reading fundamentals program in Utah.

Luther is serving as one of HAP's trainers and mentors, working with both student athletes and coaches. His experience as a collegiate and professional athlete coupled with his experience in Social Emotional Education is invaluable.





Stan Davis

Stan Davis earned a BA in Education from Western State College and a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Colorado Denver.  He has served at a multitude of levels in the public school system, including as: Principal, Athletic Director, Counselor and Classroom Teacher. In addition to his experience as a teacher and administrator, Stan has served as an assistant and head football, basketball, and wrestling coach. Stan has served at-risk youths over the last 25 years in the traditional school system, as a Director of Outdoor Education and currently as Director of Human Accelerated Performance. He was nominated for Colorado Teacher of the Year, and is the recipient of many local level awards for his work as an educator.





Dr. Jay Anderson

Dr. Anderson is a consultant, teacher-trainer, classroom instructor, and curricular administrator.  Dr. Anderson earned his Ph.D. in Language, Literacy, and Socio-cultural Studies from the University of New Mexico. His understanding of linguistics and anthropology combined with his ability to teach students at any level is a rarity.  He has the ability to take the most abstract notions and bring them to their most basic form of understanding through skill building and experiential education. Dr. Anderson is currently a HAP trainer and linguistics consultant.





Jonathan Bell

Jonathan Bell earned a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management from the University of Colorado Boulder. He has in-depth experience in business operations, business development and marketing for Fortune 300 companies as well as small businesses and start-ups. Jonathan is also an accomplished sales executive with major achievements in both large and small businesses. Jonathan has dedicated his career to improving the lives of students by giving them a better chance of personal and professional success. Jonathan is serving as the Operations Officer and Business Development Manager at Human Accelerated Performance.
